Secret in the Woods

“Secret in the Woods” begins as a story of a typical New England family. James and Helen Parker raised their three kids…..Hank, Denny, and Kaitlyn…..through the seventies and eighties in an average, every day suburban setting until one day a single, earth-shattering event would change the course of their lives forever. However, not everyone was aware of what went down on that fateful day, and lack of evidence left the door open on a cold case that would then fester for decades.

Many years later…..what was once believed to be long forgotten, has now seemingly come full circle as a number of individuals develop an unrelenting curiosity to know more about the family past while others become desperate to keep the truth hidden. With old questions being asked anew, old clues resurfacing, and new ones coming to light….the tension mounts. There is always only one truth. But what is it?

With possibly the most to hide, James Parker, now in his eighties is beginning to exhibit advanced stages of dementia. Consequently, the stories he tells are becoming increasingly tainted with falsehoods….a side effect of his disease. As the walls start to close in, will the truth ever be known? Or will James’ memory fade, and with it…..unspeakable events, before real closure can be gained?
